Pumpkulent Supply List

“How to Make Pumpkulents” via Zoom.

If you would like to make a Pumpkulent during the class, below is a list of materials you’ll need (you can also just watch me make them and you can make at a later date, up to you):

Choose which size pumpkin you want to make -

Mini pumpkin - You’ll need 1 mini pumpkin, 3 - 2” succulents (echeverias, sempervivums, and pieces of chain of pearls or dolphins for “spillers”).

From Michael’s or other craft store: Aleene’s Tacky Glue, Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks, Preserved Forest Moss or Preserved Spanish Moss, pruners, spray bottle for watering, scissors and bucket. Disposable gloves optional.

Medium pumpkin (8-10”) - 1 medium pumpkin, 5 - 2” succulents (echeverias, sempervivums and sedums), pieces of chain of pearls or dolphins for “spillers”), 1 - 4” echeveria or sempervivum.

From Michael’s or other craft store: Aleene’s Tacky Glue, Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks, Preserved Forest Moss or Preserved Spanish Moss, pruners and, spray bottle for watering and scissors. Disposable gloves optional.

Large pumpkin (12 - 14”)- 1 large pumpkin, 7 - 2” succulents (echeverias, sempervivums, sedums, and pieces of chain of pearls or dolphins for “spillers”), 1 - 4” echeveria or sempervivum.

From Michael’s or other craft store: Aleene’s Tacky Glue, Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks, Preserved Forest Moss or Preserved Spanish Moss, pruners, spray bottle for watering and scissors. Disposable gloves optional. It can get messy so have a rag and bucket.

Other succulents that I will be using are are Haworthia ‘Fasciata’, Crassula ‘Moonglow’, and Crassula ‘Tom Thumb’

You can use succulent “cuttings” from your garden, cut them 3 days before the class and let them “heal” in the shade.

Note: please purchase a real pumpkin that has a big “wide dip” under the stem this will be the “root” space for the succulents.
