What We Believe

Faith Worship Center is East County’s Word of Faith Teaching Center. Join us for a time of spirit-filled worship and the uncompromised word of God. We are committed to tearing down the barriers of traditional religion and introducing the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ. The victory that causes us to overcome is our faith. As it is written, “the word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart, that is the word of faith which we preach.” Romans 10:8

OUR VISION

Based upon Romans 8:29, II Peter 1:4, and Hebrews 12:10, Faith Worship Center Ministries believes our ultimate purpose is to bring all believers to the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

ABOUT THE BIBLE

We believe and teach that the bible is divinely inspired and is the revealed will of God.

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Deuteronomy 4:1-2

ABOUT GOD

We believe in the triune god-head of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 3:21-22; 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe God created the universe by His Power and Word.
- Genesis 1:1

We believe God is all knowing, all powerful, and ever present.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and was sent by God the Father into the world to save sinners.

We believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead and ascended to His Father’s side where He is the head of the church.

We believe Jesus Christ is returning back to earth personally, visibly, and bodily to reign as Lord.
- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 13:28-38

ABOUT SALVATION

We believe all have sinned and are in need of a Savior.
- Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

We believe that to receive salvation, one must be born again.
- John 3:3; Romans 10:9-10

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence of speaking in tongues.
- Acts 1:4-5, 8; Acts 2:4

We believe that all believers are endowed with certain spiritual gifts.
- Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 12:18-28

ABOUT BAPTISM

We believe that all believers should be water baptized as commanded in the Scriptures.
- Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48

ABOUT THE CHURCH

We believe a New Testament church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. The church has two ordinances: Baptism, which symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Lord’s Supper, a reminder of Christ’s death and His anticipated Second Coming.
